A Script About Us
I want to write a script about you and me,
To talk about the things that really could be,
Sure it ain’t real and probably fantasy,
But what’s to stop it from happening, and becoming reality.
I want to write a script about you and me,
Of all the times we’d fight each other, wanting to kill,
And how we’d tear at each other’s throats, till we both start to bleed,
Or of all the moments of silence we’d share between us,
Angry at each other, letting the malice rip through us.
I want to write a script about you and me,
About the times we’d stand strong, always wanting to win,
Or of the times we’d come out on top, with all the trials in between,
Stronger than we started out, or than we could ever see.
I wonder which parts of the script will eventually play out,
Maybe one, maybe none, maybe they’d only be in my head,
But I’d write the script all the same, hoping it’d play out one day,
Even if it didn’t, I’ll still be happy, always ignited by your flame
