Destruction

I want to start a fire, watch it rage, watch it burn,

I want to feel the searing heat, as I stand in its midst,

I want to start a storm, watch it rise, watch it destroy,

I want to feel the wind in my face, as it destroys everything it meets,

I want to start a war, watch things shatter, watch things fall,

I want to feel the distress in their hearts as they crumble from within,

I want to start something terrible, something so strong,

I want to hear their screams as it tears them to bits,

I just want to destroy, not for pleasure, not for fun,

But for something so soothing, it makes my heart yearn.
