Words, not Poems

Lilies are beautiful, roses are too, but they really aren’t anything when compared to you, The sky’s so lovely, the ocean is too, but…

Lilies are beautiful, roses are too, but they really aren’t anything when compared to you,
The sky’s so lovely, the ocean is too, but they’ll never on any day, be able to hold a candle up to you,
The atmosphere glistens, it radiates with joy, but the thought of you leaves me more full,
You captivate, you astonish, you make my world so lovely, I’d give anything I have just to stand right next to you.

The birds chirp happily, the dogs bark too, but the sound of your voice slices gracefully through the woods,
Your hair flows gloriously, it captivates me so, I’ve never really seen anything so beautiful, so endearing, so bold,
You leave men in awe, making them want you, they reach out, they grasp, but they know they’ll never reach you,
Your smile is endearing in many more ways than one, able to sway hearts in ways I never would have thought

The woods smell lovely, on a cool evening in April, I walk through them thinking only about your dear being,
You’ve won my heart over, made me love you, with quite an intensity, it makes the impossible seem true,
I stare at you from a distance, afraid you’d turn me away if ever came close,
Leaving me to wonder if I’ll ever be able to let you know how I feel, not through a poem, but with real words from my lips
